My Milestones and Learnings in 2024

Wow! Another year is already coming to an end.

Incredible how fast time flies.

At the end of the year, I always like to sit down and reflect on what I’ve accomplished over the past months. This time, however, I had the feeling that I hadn’t achieved much this year, spent a lot of time at home, and didn’t check off several goals—which left me feeling a bit disappointed lately.

BUT, when I went through my photo gallery today and looked at everything that happened, that disappointment was completely unwarranted.

Absolutely!

As the saying goes, when you zoom in too closely on the moment, you lose sight of the bigger picture! And it’s perfectly normal not to achieve every goal you’ve set—everyone experiences this.

I’ve made it a point to remind myself of this: in the new year, I’ll make sure to regularly zoom out and reflect on where I stand and what I’ve already achieved.

Now, I’d like to share with you my biggest milestones and lessons from 2024:

My biggest milestones in connection with my art journey:

• Held two wonderful solo exhibitions – one of which is permanent and still ongoing.

  
  

• Went on vacation with my partner a total of five times! Three of them were shorter trips, but they still count. Amsterdam, Sicily, Sardinia, Mallorca, and Liguria.

  
  

• Completed two painting series during 2024 (“Maldivian Dream” and “Dolce Far Niente”).

  
  

• Sold my largest artwork to date (and my favorite piece)!

  
  

• Launched an online shop on my website and now regularly sell print products.

  
  

• And last but not least, released my very first wall calendar.

Wall Calendar 2025

My 3 biggest lessons in 2024:

• Where there’s a will, there’s a way! Believe in yourself, and you can achieve anything!

  
  

• Tune out the opinions of others and stay focused on your own path and goals. Those opinions are more likely to steer you away from your target than help you get there!

  
  

• Listen to your heart more often! While your mind tries to protect you, your heart knows much better when it’s time for a change.

That was definitely an amazing year, if I may say so, and I’m already incredibly excited for the new year! I’m absolutely convinced it’s going to be even better! 🔥

I’ve already set new goals for myself, and I can give you a little sneak peek – next year, I’m already FULLY BOOKED with exhibitions!
